Table Skirts: An Important Part of the Interior

Choosing the Right Table Skirts

Selecting the perfect table skirts, also known as skirtings, is more complex than it may initially seem. These decorative covers are an essential part of many venues, from restaurants and lounges to weddings and corporate events. A banquet skirt can serve as a standard part of the décor or as a one-time embellishment for a special event like a wedding reception.

Despite their seemingly simple function, choosing the right table skirt requires careful consideration. The right selection can enhance the overall appearance of your venue, so it’s important to follow certain guidelines when deciding. Consulting experienced hoteliers or industry experts is a great way to ensure that the choice aligns with the venue’s aesthetic and purpose.

Tailoring is key for banquet skirts. A custom-fit skirt ensures a polished and professional look that contributes to a positive impression on your guests. If the skirt doesn’t fit properly, it can detract from the atmosphere, making the event or space feel less cohesive. Therefore, investing time in selecting the right table skirt is essential to achieving the desired effect.

How to Choose the Right Table Skirt

As mentioned earlier, selecting the perfect table skirt involves more than meets the eye. Beyond design, color plays a crucial role in the decision-making process. While the classic white table skirt is a versatile option that suits nearly every occasion, colorful or darker shades add an extra touch of elegance and are especially fitting for evening social events. Darker skirts can exude luxury, making them ideal for formal gatherings.

Moreover, your choice of color can even reflect your establishment’s branding, such as matching the skirt’s color to your company’s logo. In this regard, creativity and experimentation are encouraged, as they can add a unique and personalized touch to your décor.

At our company, customers can select from a wide range of materials and colors, and all table skirts are custom-made to suit their needs. For those looking for something even more distinctive, we also offer the option to add patterns or embroidery to the skirt, further enhancing its style.

Our Offer

In many hotels, table skirts have become a key decorative element, often serving as a standout feature of the interior design.

We offer a wide selection of table skirts with different types of ruching, two material options, and various colors to meet the needs of all clients. The skirts are made with a ruching ratio that allows them to gather naturally, creating a neat and elegant look. Additionally, we produce table skirts in various lengths and heights according to customer specifications, and a major benefit is that they don’t require ironing, saving a significant amount of time.

Our skirts are available in two material options. The first is Panama, which comes in 70 different color variations. The second option is Gastro Light, which features a heavier weight and superior shape retention. Notably, the Gastro Light skirts come with an external Teflon coating, making spills easy to handle—just wipe with a cloth, saving both time and cleaning costs.

Types of Frills

We produce all of our table skirts with ruching and offer four different classes to suit various preferences and budgets:

  • S1 Sewing: This is the simplest and most affordable option. While an S1 pleated skirt is a solid choice, many experienced hoteliers and restaurant owners often opt for a higher standard of pleating.

  • S2 Sewing: This version features denser pleating, but with only a minimal increase in price.

  • S3 Sewing: This option belongs to the higher-end standards, with pleats that fold against each other. This design requires more fabric, but customers are guaranteed to be pleased with the look and quality.

  • S4 Sewing: Similar to S3, but with gaps between the individual pleats. This adds a unique, elegant touch, making it a popular choice for more formal settings.

Mounting and Other Accessories

The fit of table skirts is a key consideration, yet many customers unintentionally complicate the process. Using clips or nails can lead to issues, so it's important to choose the right mounting method.

Velcro is by far the best solution. In our offer, you will find adhesive Velcro tape that can be easily attached to the edge of the table. To use it, cut the tape into 3-5 cm pieces and place around 3-4 pieces per meter of the table. Corners are also simple to handle—just use a larger piece of tape. The adhesive used does not leave any residue after removal, ensuring your table remains undamaged.

We also sell a rough adhesive counterpart to the Velcro fastener, with packages containing ten meters of tape. Velcro ensures a snug and perfect fit for your table skirts, making the entire setup hassle-free.

Clips are the second option for attaching table skirts. Made from plastic, they are prone to wear and tear, which can lead to damage over time. To secure a skirt properly, you typically need 3-4 clips per meter, which can make Velcro a more efficient choice. However, we do offer clips in various designs and sizes to accommodate different table widths.

Hangers are highly recommended for easy transport and storage of skirts, preventing creases and maintaining their appearance. Our metal hangers can hold 7-8 meters of sewn skirt and are designed for durability. They are easily detachable and made from hard material, ensuring a long service life and minimal risk of damage during standard use.

We also provide skirt wraps with classic zippers for simple handling. These wraps keep skirts clean and wrinkle-free, reducing the need for ironing.

In summary, table skirts are a crucial detail that enhances the aesthetic appeal and functionality of any event setup. Careful selection and proper attachment are key to achieving a polished and professional look. Consult with experts to make the best choice for your needs, as the first impression is often lasting, and in this case, it truly counts.
